vedasmṛtipurāṇoktadharme yo nityamāsthitaḥ | priyāpriyavimuktaṃ taṃ nāradaṃ praṇamāmyaham

میں نارد مُنی کو سجدۂ ادب کرتا ہوں جو وید، سمرتی اور پرانوں میں بیان کردہ دھرم پر ہمیشہ قائم رہتا ہے، اور پسند و ناپسند کی وابستگی و نفرت سے آزاد ہے۔
