दानपात्रमतिक्रम्य यदपात्रे प्रदीयते । तद्दत्तं गामतिक्रम्य गर्दभस्य गवाह्निकम्
dānapātramatikramya yadapātre pradīyate | taddattaṃ gāmatikramya gardabhasya gavāhnikam
جو چیز مناسب دانیہ (اہلِ عطیہ) کو چھوڑ کر نااہل کو دی جائے، وہ ایسا ہے جیسے گائے کو نظرانداز کر کے گدھے کو چارہ کھلایا جائے، حالانکہ دودھ دینے والی گائے موجود ہو۔
