अन्तःक्षुरा वाङ्मधुराः कूपाश्धन्नास्तृणौरिव । कुर्वते ये बहून्मार्गांस्तांस्तान्हेतुबलन्विताः

antaḥkṣurā vāṅmadhurāḥ kūpāśdhannāstṛṇauriva | kurvate ye bahūnmārgāṃstāṃstānhetubalanvitāḥ

اندر سے وہ استرے کی طرح تیز ہیں مگر زبان میں مٹھاس؛ گویا گھاس سے ڈھکا ہوا کنواں۔ جو لوگ بہت سے فریب کے راستے بناتے ہیں، وہ ہر بار دلیل اور زور کے ہتھیار سے لیس ہو کر ایسا کرتے ہیں۔
