स लोभः सह मोहेन विजेतव्यो जितात्मना । दम्भो द्रोहश्च निंदा च पैशुन्यं मत्सरस्तथा
sa lobhaḥ saha mohena vijetavyo jitātmanā | dambho drohaśca niṃdā ca paiśunyaṃ matsarastathā
وہ لالچ—موہ کے ساتھ—اس شخص کو فتح کرنا چاہیے جس نے اپنے نفس کو قابو میں کر لیا ہو۔ اسی سے ریاکاری، خیانت، بدگوئی، چغلی اور حسد بھی پیدا ہوتے ہیں۔
