pūjayiṣyaṃti māṃ martyāsteṣāṃ chetsyāmi duṣkṛtam | sarvatīrthamayī yaśca sarvartukavanesthitaḥ
“جو فانی لوگ میری پوجا کریں گے، میں ان کے بداعمالی کے پھل کاٹ دوں گی۔ اور یہ مقام، سروَرتُک وَن میں قائم، تمام تیرتھوں کی شکتی سے بھرپور ہے۔”
Devī (Kolaṃbā / Rudrāṇī)
Tirtha: Sarvartuka-vana (with Rudrāṇī-kūpa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: the devotee/narrator and, by extension, future pilgrims
Scene: Devī promises: ‘I will cut away their evil deeds’; the forest-kṣetra is shown as a mandala of many tīrthas symbolically converging into the well and shrine.
Devī-bhakti at a tīrtha purifies karma; some sites are praised as equivalent to all pilgrimage places combined.
Sarvartuka-vana and the Rudrāṇī-kūpa region, proclaimed ‘sarva-tīrtha-mayī’.
Pūjā of the Goddess, with the promised fruit of duṣkṛta (sin) removal.
