स्नेहात्करणरागश्च प्रजज्ञे वैषयस्तथा । अश्रेयस्कावुभावतौ पूर्वस्तत्र गुरुः स्मृतः

snehātkaraṇarāgaśca prajajñe vaiṣayastathā | aśreyaskāvubhāvatau pūrvastatra guruḥ smṛtaḥ

محبت و وابستگی سے حواس پر رنگ چڑھتا ہے اور اسی سے لذّتِ دنیا کی خواہش بھی پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ یہ دونوں اَشریہ (ناخیر) کے سبب ہیں؛ اور اس معاملے میں پہلا یعنی وابستگی ہی کو اصل محرّک یاد کیا گیا ہے۔
