बहूदकस्य तीरे च प्रेतानुद्दिश्य दीयते । यत्किंचिदक्षयं तेषामुपतिष्ठेन्न चान्यथा
bahūdakasya tīre ca pretānuddiśya dīyate | yatkiṃcidakṣayaṃ teṣāmupatiṣṭhenna cānyathā
بہودک کے کنارے پریتوں (مرحومین) کے نام پر جو کچھ بھی دان دیا جائے، وہ ان کے لیے اَکشَی یعنی لازوال ہو جاتا ہے؛ یقیناً وہ انہیں پہنچتا ہے، ورنہ نہیں۔
