अमाययैव भूतेभ्यो विक्रीणात्यस्य सद्व्रतम् । केचिद्यज्ञं प्रशंसंति नन्दभद्रो न मन्यते
amāyayaiva bhūtebhyo vikrīṇātyasya sadvratam | kecidyajñaṃ praśaṃsaṃti nandabhadro na manyate
بے ریائی کے ساتھ وہ مہربانی کے ذریعے جانداروں کو گویا ‘خرید’ لیتا ہے—یہی اس کا سچا نیک ورت ہے۔ کچھ لوگ یَجْن (قربانی کی رسم) کی تعریف کرتے ہیں، مگر نندبھدر اسے اعلیٰ ترین نہیں مانتا۔
