ईर्ष्यया सुमहद्दुःखं मोहाद्रक्तस्य जायते । मत्तस्य कुपितस्यैव रागो दोषाय केवलम्
īrṣyayā sumahadduḥkhaṃ mohādraktasya jāyate | mattasya kupitasyaiva rāgo doṣāya kevalam
حسد سے نہایت بڑا دکھ پیدا ہوتا ہے، اس کے لیے جس کا دل فریبِ نفس سے رنگا ہو۔ نشے میں مدہوش اور غضبناک کے لیے خواہش محض عیب بن جاتی ہے، اور کچھ نہیں۔
