असत्यसंधो निद्रालुर्दातायं तामसोऽधमः । त्रिशुक्लः कृशवृत्तिश्च घृणालुः सकलेंद्रियः
asatyasaṃdho nidrālurdātāyaṃ tāmaso'dhamaḥ | triśuklaḥ kṛśavṛttiśca ghṛṇāluḥ sakaleṃdriyaḥ
جو جھوٹ کے عہد میں بندھا ہو، نیند کا سست ہو، اور تمس میں ڈوبا ہو—ایسا داتا پست شمار ہوتا ہے۔ وہ اگرچہ بظاہر تین طرح سے ‘پاک’ دکھے، مگر کمینہ روش رکھتا، سنگ دل، اور حواس کا غلام ہوتا ہے۔
