जगच्च क्षुब्धमत्यर्थं स्वां प्रतिज्ञां पुरा कृताम् । पश्चिमां प्रतिलंबंतं भास्करं चापि लोहितम्
jagacca kṣubdhamatyarthaṃ svāṃ pratijñāṃ purā kṛtām | paścimāṃ pratilaṃbaṃtaṃ bhāskaraṃ cāpi lohitam
اور جہان سخت لرز اٹھا؛ اس نے اپنی پہلے کی ہوئی قسم (کا انجام) دیکھا، اور سورج کو بھی—سرخ ہو کر—مغرب کی سمت نیچا لٹکتا ہوا دیکھا۔
