महादेव उवाच । पित्रा हि ते परिज्ञातं दृष्ट्वा त्वां रूपशालिनीम् । बालां स्वयंवरं पुत्री महं दास्यामि नान्यथा
mahādeva uvāca | pitrā hi te parijñātaṃ dṛṣṭvā tvāṃ rūpaśālinīm | bālāṃ svayaṃvaraṃ putrī mahaṃ dāsyāmi nānyathā
مہادیو نے کہا: “تمہیں حسن و جمال سے درخشاں دیکھ کر تمہارے پتا نے بات کو جان لیا ہے۔ وہ اپنی کم سن بیٹی کو سویمور میں ہی دے گا—اسی طرح، ورنہ نہیں۔”
