देवी प्राह ज्वालयिष्ये शरीरं योगवह्निना । महादेवकृतमतिरुच्छिष्टाहं यतोऽभवम्

devī prāha jvālayiṣye śarīraṃ yogavahninā | mahādevakṛtamatirucchiṣṭāhaṃ yato'bhavam

دیوی نے کہا: "میں یوگ کی آگ سے اس جسم کو جلا دوں گی۔ چونکہ میرا ذہن مہادیو کی طرف مائل ہو گیا تھا، اس لیے میں ان کے بعد بچی ہوئی (نااہل) ہو گئی ہوں۔"
