तन्नाशकृपया देवो नानास्थानेषु सोऽगमत् । तावत्पस्यति पृष्ठस्तमाकृष्य धनुषः शरम्
tannāśakṛpayā devo nānāsthāneṣu so'gamat | tāvatpasyati pṛṣṭhastamākṛṣya dhanuṣaḥ śaram
اُسے ہلاک نہ کرنے کی رحمت سے دیو مختلف جگہوں کی طرف چلا گیا؛ مگر پھر بھی وہ اسے پیچھے ہی دیکھتا رہا—کمان سے تیر کھینچتے ہوئے۔
