Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 11

त्रैलोक्यदानवान्सर्वान्दग्धुं शक्तः क्षणादहम् । दुर्जस्तारकः किं तु मुक्त्वा सप्तदिनं शिशुम्

Transliteration

trailokyadānavānsarvāndagdhuṃ śaktaḥ kṣaṇādaham | durjastārakaḥ kiṃ tu muktvā saptadinaṃ śiśum

Translation

“میں ایک لمحے میں تینوں لوکوں کے سب دانَووں کو جلا سکتا ہوں۔ مگر وہ ناقابلِ مغلوب تارک—سات دن کے شیرخوار کو چھوڑ کر—(ایک خاص معاملہ ہے)۔”
