अग्निरूपेण तस्याश्च स ददाह महाश्रमम् । चकर्ष वायुरूपेण महोग्रेण च तां शुभाम् । एवं सिहवृकाद्याभिर्भीषिकाभिः पुनःपुनः
agnirūpeṇa tasyāśca sa dadāha mahāśramam | cakarṣa vāyurūpeṇa mahogreṇa ca tāṃ śubhām | evaṃ sihavṛkādyābhirbhīṣikābhiḥ punaḥpunaḥ
آگ کی صورت میں اُس نے اُس کے عظیم آشرم کو جلا ڈالا؛ اور نہایت سخت و تند ہوا کی صورت میں اُس مبارک عورت کو گھسیٹ لیا۔ یوں شیر، بھیڑیے وغیرہ کی ہولناک ہیئتوں کے ذریعے وہ بار بار اُس کے عزم کو متزلزل کرنے لگا۔
