Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 34

तथा तथा यति ष्यामि भविष्यामि यथा गणः । अविशुद्धिक्षयाधिक्यदूषणैरेष निंदितः

tathā tathā yati ṣyāmi bhaviṣyāmi yathā gaṇaḥ | aviśuddhikṣayādhikyadūṣaṇaireṣa niṃditaḥ

اسی طرح میں سعی کروں گا اور گن (شیو کے پریچارک) کی مانند بنوں گا۔ کیونکہ یہ جنت ناپاکی، ثواب کے زوال اور دیگر عیوب کی آلودگی سے ملامت کی گئی ہے۔
