स्कंद उवाच । कृतानुज्ञा जनेत्रा सा क्षेत्रे परमपावने । तपस्तताप परमं यदसाध्यं तपस्विभिः
skaṃda uvāca | kṛtānujñā janetrā sā kṣetre paramapāvane | tapastatāpa paramaṃ yadasādhyaṃ tapasvibhiḥ
سکند نے کہا: ماں کی اجازت پا کر وہ کنیا اس نہایت پاکیزہ کھیتر میں اعلیٰ ترین تپسیا میں لگ گئی—ایسی تپسیا جسے کامل تپسی بھی دشوار پاتے ہیں۔
