स्कंद उवाच । अथेशाज्ञां समादाय गजवक्त्रः प्रतस्थिवान् । शंभोः काश्यागमोपायं चिंतयन्मंदराद्रितः

skaṃda uvāca | atheśājñāṃ samādāya gajavaktraḥ pratasthivān | śaṃbhoḥ kāśyāgamopāyaṃ ciṃtayanmaṃdarādritaḥ

سکند نے کہا: پھر خداوند کی فرمانبرداری قبول کر کے، ہاتھی چہرے والے (گج وکتر) روانہ ہوئے—کوہِ مندر سے، اس تدبیر پر غور کرتے ہوئے کہ شَمبھو کس طرح کاشی تشریف لا سکیں۔
