निष्पापो जायते मर्त्यः खट्वांगेश विलोकनात् । भुवनेशस्ततो याम्यां कुंडं च भुवनेश्वरम्
niṣpāpo jāyate martyaḥ khaṭvāṃgeśa vilokanāt | bhuvaneśastato yāmyāṃ kuṃḍaṃ ca bhuvaneśvaram
خٹوانگیش کے محض دیدار سے ہی فانی انسان گناہوں سے پاک ہو جاتا ہے۔ اس کے جنوب میں بھونیش ہے اور بھونیشور نام کا کنڈ ہے۔
Skanda (deduced; Kāśīkhaṇḍa context: Skanda to Agastya)
Tirtha: Khaṭvāṅgeśa; Bhuvaneśvara-kuṇḍa (associated with Bhuvaneśa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pilgrimage-inquirer (traditional frame: sages/devotees)
Scene: A Kāśī pilgrim stands before the Khaṭvāṅgeśa liṅga; the city-lanes open southward toward a second liṅga (Bhuvaneśa) and a stepped pond labeled Bhuvaneśvara-kuṇḍa.
Darśana (sacred seeing) of Kāśī’s deities is itself a purifier, and the text guides pilgrims through a mapped sequence of shrines.
Khaṭvāṅgeśa, along with Bhuvaneśa and the Bhuvaneśvara Kuṇḍa in Kāśī.
Darśana of Khaṭvāṅgeśa is highlighted as efficacious; the verse also points to the next sites in the southern direction.
