tasmātsarvaprayatnena kāśīphalamabhīpsubhiḥ | pūjyānyetāni liṃgāni bhaktyā paramayā mune
Skanda
Tirtha: Kāśī — the set of worship-worthy liṅgas (etāni liṅgāni)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Agastya
Scene: Skanda’s directive becomes a pilgrimage tableau: devotees moving from shrine to shrine, offering flowers and lamps, with a sense of purposeful striving toward ‘Kāśī-phala’.
The ‘fruit of Kāśī’ is fulfilled through sincere, devoted worship rather than mere presence.
Kāśī as a sacred landscape where specific Śiva-liṅgas are central to its promised merit.
Pūjā/ārādhana of the liṅgas with paramā-bhakti and sustained effort.
