यावंति संति लिंगानि वाराणस्यां महांत्यपि । उत्तमं तावतामेतदुत्तमांगवदुत्तमम्

yāvaṃti saṃti liṃgāni vārāṇasyāṃ mahāṃtyapi | uttamaṃ tāvatāmetaduttamāṃgavaduttamam

وارانسی میں جتنے بھی لِنگ ہیں—خواہ کتنے ہی عظیم ہوں—ان سب میں یہ ہی سب سے افضل ہے، گویا اعلیٰ ترین عضو یعنی سر کی مانند برتر۔
