کوڑھ کے سخت روگ میں مبتلا ہو کر اس نے بیوی، گھر اور مال چھوڑ دیا۔ پھر وارانسی پہنچ کر اس دانا نے برَدھن—سورَی دیو—کی عبادت کی۔
