Transliteration

vṛddhenārādhito yasmāddhārītena tapasvinā | ādityo vārdhakaharo vṛddhādityastataḥ smṛtaḥ

Translation

چونکہ تپسوی ہاریتا نے بڑھاپے میں آدتیہ کی آرادھنا کی، اس لیے جو آدتیہ بڑھاپے کی تکلیف دور کرتا ہے وہ ‘وردھ آدتیہ’ کے نام سے یاد کیا جاتا ہے۔
