Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A wife performs worship to her husband as if to a deity: offering flowers, lamp, and respectful salutations; behind them appear symbolic icons of dharma, tīrtha, and vrata merging into his figure.
It elevates marital devotion as a comprehensive dharma, equating it with worship, pilgrimage, and vows.
Tīrtha is invoked as a concept; the chapter’s placement in Kāśī Khaṇḍa keeps Kāśī as the overarching sacred backdrop.
Samarcana (devotional honoring/worship) of the husband is prescribed as paramount.
