कृशः प्रलंबः स्फुटितो रूक्षो दौर्भाग्यसूचकः । श्यावः स्थूलोऽधरोष्ठः स्याद्वैधव्य कलहप्रदः
kṛśaḥ pralaṃbaḥ sphuṭito rūkṣo daurbhāgyasūcakaḥ | śyāvaḥ sthūlo'dharoṣṭhaḥ syādvaidhavya kalahapradaḥ
اگر (ہونٹ) پتلا، بہت لمبا، پھٹا ہوا اور خشک ہو تو اسے بدبختی کی علامت کہا گیا ہے۔ اور اگر نچلا ہونٹ سیاہ اور موٹا ہو تو اسے بیوگی لانے والا اور جھگڑے پیدا کرنے والا بتایا گیا ہے۔
