Transliteration

āmauliṃ vā'lalāṭaṃvā'nāsamūrdhvapramāṇataḥ | brahmakṣatraviśāṃ daṃḍastvagāḍhyonāgnidūṣitaḥ

Translation

اس کی پیمائش سر کے تاج تک، یا پیشانی تک، یا کم از کم ناک سے اوپر کی بلندی تک ہو۔ برہمن، کشَتریہ اور ویشیہ کا ڈنڈا مضبوط اور موٹا ہو، اور آگ سے آلودہ نہ ہو (یعنی جھلسا یا خراب نہ ہو)۔
