सुलोचनापि सा कन्या प्रेक्षेतास्यं न कस्यचित् । सुश्रवा अपि सा बाला नादत्ते कस्यचिद्वचः
sulocanāpi sā kanyā prekṣetāsyaṃ na kasyacit | suśravā api sā bālā nādatte kasyacidvacaḥ
اگرچہ وہ خوش چشم ہے، پھر بھی وہ کسی کے چہرے کی طرف نہیں دیکھتی؛ اور اگرچہ نیک نام ہے، پھر بھی وہ کسی کے کلام—یعنی خواستگاری کے بول—قبول نہیں کرتی۔
