अतः शोकं परित्यज्य धृतिं कृत्वा समाहितः । अनयोः प्रेतकार्याणि कुरु त्वं वैदिकानि तु

ataḥ śokaṃ parityajya dhṛtiṃ kṛtvā samāhitaḥ | anayoḥ pretakāryāṇi kuru tvaṃ vaidikāni tu

پس غم کو چھوڑ کر، ثابت قدم اور یکسو ہو کر، اِن دونوں کے لیے ویدک پریت کارْیَ (اموات کے واجب رسوم) ادا کر۔
