Sūta (continued narration; completing the thought from 39.6)
Tirtha: Kapitīrtha
Type: tirtha
Listener: viprāḥ (brāhmaṇas)
Scene: A pilgrim takes measured steps toward the shining Kapitīrtha; with each step, a subtle ascent motif (lotus-stairway/light path) appears, symbolizing attainment of the supreme state; the sea and shrine glow.
In Purāṇic dharma, sincere movement toward a holy place—even a small beginning—can yield vast spiritual fruit when rooted in faith.
Kapitīrtha, proclaimed as unrivaled among tīrthas.
Pilgrimage-intent and setting out toward the tīrtha (even minimally) is praised as meritorious; no additional rite is specified here.
