grahāḥ sarve sanakṣatrā vasavo'ṣṭau dhruvā dayaḥ | aṃtarikṣacarāḥ sarve ye cānye nagavāsinaḥ
Sūta
Tirtha: (implied) pāpanīṣūdana-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A cosmic tableau: planets and constellations personified in the sky; the eight Vasus stand like elemental pillars; Dhruva shines steady above; aerial beings traverse mid-space; mountain-dwellers arrive from peaks—everything aligns toward the sacred field.
A supreme tīrtha is portrayed as cosmically central—its holiness resonates through heaven, mid-air, and earth, making dharma a universal principle.
Dharmāraṇya is the implied locus of this all-encompassing gathering.
No ritual prescription is stated; the verse magnifies the kṣetra’s greatness through a universal assembly motif.
