। व्यास उवाच । श्रूयतां नृपशार्दूल कथां पौराणिकीं शुभाम् । यां श्रुत्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मुच्यते नात्र संशयः
| vyāsa uvāca | śrūyatāṃ nṛpaśārdūla kathāṃ paurāṇikīṃ śubhām | yāṃ śrutvā sarvapāpebhyo mucyate nātra saṃśayaḥ
ویاس نے کہا: اے بادشاہوں میں شیر، اس مبارک پورانک داستان کو سنو؛ اسے سننے سے انسان تمام گناہوں سے پاک ہو جاتا ہے، اس میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے۔
