स्कंदाय कथितं चैव शर्वेण च महात्मना । आनुपूर्व्येण सर्वं हि कथयस्व त्वमेव हि
skaṃdāya kathitaṃ caiva śarveṇa ca mahātmanā | ānupūrvyeṇa sarvaṃ hi kathayasva tvameva hi
یہ بات مہاتما شَروَ (شیو) نے اسکند کو سنائی تھی؛ اس لیے تم خود ہی سب کچھ ترتیب وار بیان کرو۔
