मार्गं त्यक्त्वा गतोऽरण्यं नरो विध्येत कण्टकैः । बलार्द्धिस्येत वा हिंस्रैर्यदा त्यक्तसमा गमः

mārgaṃ tyaktvā gato'raṇyaṃ naro vidhyeta kaṇṭakaiḥ | balārddhisyeta vā hiṃsrairyadā tyaktasamā gamaḥ

جو مرد راہ چھوڑ کر جنگل میں چلا جائے، وہ کانٹوں سے چھلنی ہوتا ہے یا درندوں کے ہاتھوں پھٹ جاتا ہے؛ اسی طرح جب سَت سنگت ترک کی جائے۔
