Transliteration

devatvaṃ yāni sattvena rajasā ca manuṣyatām | tiryaktvaṃ tamasā jaṃturvāsanānugatovaśaḥ

Translation

سَتْو سے دیوتا پن حاصل ہوتا ہے، رَجَس سے انسانیت؛ تَمَس سے جاندار حیوانی یَونی میں گرتا ہے—وासनاؤں کے کھنچاؤ کے آگے بےبس ہو کر۔
