Transliteration

māsi bhādrapade pārtha kṛṣṇapakṣe caturdaśī | upoṣya parayā bhaktyā rātrau kurvīta jāgaram

Translation

اے پُرتھا کے فرزند، بھادَرپَد کے مہینے میں کرشن پکش کی چودھویں تِتھی کو، اعلیٰ ترین بھکتی کے ساتھ اُپواس رکھ کر، رات بھر جاگَرَن کرنا چاہیے۔
