महान्तं च कलिं दृष्ट्वा संतोषः परमोऽभवत् । देवदानवयोस्तत्र युद्धं त्यक्त्वा च नारदः
mahāntaṃ ca kaliṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃtoṣaḥ paramo'bhavat | devadānavayostatra yuddhaṃ tyaktvā ca nāradaḥ
جب اس نے دیکھا کہ ٹکراؤ بہت عظیم ہو چکا ہے تو نارَد کو اعلیٰ ترین اطمینان ہوا۔ اور وہاں دیوتاؤں اور دانَووں کی جنگ کو چھوڑ کر نارَد روانہ ہو گیا۔
