न चावाप्ता तु सा कन्या महादेवाङ्गसंभवा । सहोमया ततो देवो जहासोच्चैः पुनःपुनः
na cāvāptā tu sā kanyā mahādevāṅgasaṃbhavā | sahomayā tato devo jahāsoccaiḥ punaḥpunaḥ
لیکن وہ دوشیزہ—جو خود مہادیو کے جسم سے پیدا ہوئی تھی—ابھی تک (اپنے مقدر والے کو) حاصل نہ ہوئی تھی۔ تب دیو، اُما کے ساتھ، بار بار بلند آواز سے ہنسا۔
