sarvabhūtamayaṃ tāta manunā saha suvrata | bhūyo vavande caraṇau sarvadevanamaskṛtau
Mārkaṇḍeya
Tirtha: Śiva-caraṇa-darśana at Trikūṭa (implied)
Type: peak
Listener: Addressed to 'tāta' and 'suvrata' within the frame; broader listener-frame aligns with Yudhiṣṭhira’s later query
Scene: Mārkaṇḍeya and Manu together bow low at Śiva’s feet on the summit; the gods in the background also incline, emphasizing universal reverence; the scene is calm, luminous, and centered on the feet.
Humility and repeated reverence (namaskāra) to the all-pervading Lord is affirmed as a universal dharmic act—even the gods worship his feet.
The verse centers on worship at the Lord’s seat on the peak (Trikūṭa context), emphasizing the sanctity of that divine presence.
Namaskāra/praṇāma—bowing at the feet of the Lord, framed as repeated devotional practice.
