तावत्ते ब्राह्मणाः सर्वे भ्रमित्वा काननं महत् । आगताः स्वगृहे दारान् ददृशुश्च हतौजसः
tāvatte brāhmaṇāḥ sarve bhramitvā kānanaṃ mahat | āgatāḥ svagṛhe dārān dadṛśuśca hataujasaḥ
اسی اثنا میں وہ سب برہمن عظیم جنگل میں بھٹک کر اپنے گھروں کو لوٹے اور اپنی بیویوں کو دیکھا؛ مگر ان کی شان و ہمت ٹوٹ چکی تھی۔
