उद्दिश्य चाग्निजं देवं ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे । तस्याः पुत्रो यथा स्कन्दो देवसङ्घेषु चोत्तमः
uddiśya cāgnijaṃ devaṃ brāhmaṇe vedapārage | tasyāḥ putro yathā skando devasaṅgheṣu cottamaḥ
آگنی سے جنم لینے والے دیوتا کے نام پر نذر کر کے، ویدوں کے پارنگت برہمن کو دان دے؛ تو اس کا بیٹا سکند کی مانند دیوتاؤں کے لشکروں میں افضل ہوتا ہے۔
