पितृशापपरिक्लिष्टा गर्भवासाय भारत । नार्मदं तीर्थमासाद्य तपश्चक्रुर्यतेन्द्रियाः

pitṛśāpaparikliṣṭā garbhavāsāya bhārata | nārmadaṃ tīrthamāsādya tapaścakruryatendriyāḥ

اے بھارت! پِتروں کے شاپ سے ستائے ہوئے اور گربھ واس (پُنرجنم) کے لیے مقدر بن کر، وہ نَرمدا کے تیرتھ پر پہنچے اور حواس کو قابو میں رکھ کر تپسیا کرنے لگے۔
