Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced)
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) and her liṅga-sambandha tīrtha
Type: kshetra
Scene: Narmadā as a luminous stream flowing beside ascetics; a Śiva-liṅga stands as her source/merging point; devotees drink her water in ācamana, depicted as receiving invisible dīkṣā and soma-like radiance.
Service to the Narmadā—dwelling near her and honoring her waters—confers extraordinary sacrificial merit and purification.
The Narmadā, especially in relation to the liṅga at the Revā–Sāgara-saṅgama.
Narmadā-sevā: residing by the river and ritually partaking of her sanctified water, equated in merit to Soma-drinking and universal dīkṣā.
