बटुरुवाच । दिनशेषेण चास्माकं पञ्चतां च दिने दिने । निष्पत्तिं याति वा नेति तदसिद्धमशेषतः

baṭuruvāca | dinaśeṣeṇa cāsmākaṃ pañcatāṃ ca dine dine | niṣpattiṃ yāti vā neti tadasiddhamaśeṣataḥ

بَٹو نے کہا: دن کا تھوڑا سا حصہ باقی ہے، اور ہماری جان بھی روز بروز غیر یقینی ہے۔ یہ کام پورا ہوگا یا نہیں، یہ بات سراسر غیر ثابت اور نامعلوم ہے۔
