तथेति चोक्त्वा विप्रेन्द्रः पाठयंस्तं दिने दिने । वर्तते सह शिष्यैः स शिलोञ्छानुपहारयन्
tatheti coktvā viprendraḥ pāṭhayaṃstaṃ dine dine | vartate saha śiṣyaiḥ sa śiloñchānupahārayan
یہ کہہ کر کہ “تھتھا ستو”، وِپرِیندر نے اسے روز بروز پڑھایا۔ وہ شاگردوں کے ساتھ رہتا اور شِلوञچھ سے چُنے ہوئے اناج کو نذر کے طور پر لاتا تھا۔

Scene: The guru teaches daily while the student lives with other disciples, bringing gleaned grains as humble offerings; a simple store of grains, earthen pots, and a sacred fire mark the āśrama.
Learning is sustained by simplicity and self-restraint; the āśrama thrives on minimal, dhārmic livelihood.
The Revā Khaṇḍa milieu—riverine hermitages and their disciplined life—serves as the sacred setting.
Śiloñcha (gleaning) is indicated as a dhārmic means of sustenance; offerings/support are made from such simple gains.
