Mārkaṇḍeya (deduced from Revā Khaṇḍa narrative continuity)
Tirtha: Revā/Narmadā-tīrtha (Śiva-darśana locus)
Type: ghat
Scene: A pilgrim beholds Girijākānta—Śiva—at a luminous Narmadā-bank shrine; in the background stand ancient mahārṣis (Kapila foremost) as witnesses to the site’s sanctity.
Śiva-darśana at a sanctified place is portrayed as a direct cause of attaining the highest spiritual goal.
A Revā (Narmadā) tīrtha where Girijākānta Śiva is worshiped/seen (the verse itself does not name the exact spot).
The emphasis is on darśana (beholding) of Śiva, in the broader sequence of tīrtha practices (snāna/pūjā) described in adjacent verses.
