yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | asmāhakasya māhātmyaṃ kathayasva mamānagha | snānadānena yatpuṇyaṃ tathā piṇḍodakena ca

یُدھِشٹھِر نے کہا: اے بے گناہ بزرگ، مجھے اَسماہک کی عظمت بیان کیجیے—اِشنان اور دان سے، اور نیز پِنڈ اور اُدک ترپن سے کیسا پُنّیہ حاصل ہوتا ہے؟
