huṃkāritā viśālākṣī pīnorujaghanasthalā | tatkṣaṇāccābhavadraudrā kālarātrīva bhārata

اُس ‘ہُوں کار’ کی ضرب سے وسیع چشم دیوی—کشادہ کولہوں اور بھرے ہوئے رانوں والی—اسی لمحے ہولناک ہو گئی، اے بھارت، گویا کالراتری۔
