Transliteration

kathayāmi yathāvṛttamitihāsaṃ purātanam | kathitaṃ pūrvato vṛddhaiḥ pāramparyeṇa bhārata

Translation

میں اسے جیسے واقع ہوا تھا ویسے ہی ایک قدیم اِتہاس بیان کرتا ہوں۔ اے بھارت! یہ پہلے بزرگوں نے روایت در روایت نقل کیا تھا۔
