Transliteration

vedopavedavedāṅgādīnyabhivyasya pūritaḥ | aṣṭādaśapurāṇānāṃ vaktā satyavatīsutaḥ

Translation

ویدوں، اُپ ویدوں اور ویدانگ وغیرہ کو پوری طرح بیان کرکے، ستیوتی کے فرزند (ویاس) اٹھارہ پرانوں کے شارح و واعظ بنے۔
